PureWave transducer technology
PureWave technology, available on the C5-1, S5-1, and X7-2t Sparq transducers, enhances diagnostic accuracy, particularly for challenging patients. Its outstanding performance leads to increased confidence in diagnosis.
Security gold standard
The security of your ultrasound system and patient data is a top priority for Philips. To safeguard against potential threats, our defense-in-depth strategy incorporates five layers: firewall, operating system hardening, malware protection, access controls, and patient data encryption. Each layer serves a crucial role in preventing unauthorized access, defending against malware, and thwarting hackers.
Needle Visualization
The Sparq ultrasound system incorporates needle guidance technology, which significantly enhances the accuracy of needle guidance. Needle Visualization technology offers a clear and concise representation of the needle without compromising the image quality, enabling quick and precise needle guidance towards the targeted anatomy.
Ergonomic design
The Sparq ultrasound system boasts a compact, height-adjustable design with a 17-inch monitor on an articulating arm, allowing for effortless maneuverability and easy placement in even the most demanding clinical settings. Innovative cable management technology called Easy clip ensures cables remain organized and tangle-free. Additionally, with the optional barcode scanner, patient information can be quickly obtained from a hospital-generated barcode, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced data entry errors.
Remote Reporting
With the Remote Reporting feature of Sparq, clinicians can conveniently access the Telexy Qpath™ data management system from a remote location. This enables them to interact with ultrasound images and Qpath worksheets directly from Sparq, streamlining the reporting process. The ability to complete and approve ultrasound exam reports at the point-of-care significantly improves workflow efficiency.
Centerline mark to facilitate out-of-plane procedures
The L12-4 and C6-2 transducers are equipped with a centerline mark that aligns with a centerline on the image, aiding in the guidance of needles during out-of-plane procedures. This feature enhances the accuracy and precision of needle placement.
Battery operation saves critical time
When time is of the essence, the battery operation and 'instant on' features of the system allow for quick assessments, enabling you to perform multiple exams without the need for system shut down.
Automation features for easy scanning
Sparq's user-friendly design includes a dynamic interface that simplifies the scanning process by removing complexities. The AutoSCAN feature further streamlines the process by automatically identifying tissue type and continuously adjusting image gain during scanning, reducing the need for manual control adjustments. This feature enables users to focus on the exam rather than the system controls, enhancing workflow efficiency.
Abundant clinical applications
Sparq's extensive range of transducers and features support a wide variety of clinical applications, enabling exceptional image quality for patients with varying body types. Its supported applications include Cardiac and TEE, lung, vascular access, abdomen, musculoskeletal, FAST, nerve, ocular, superficial, and pelvic imaging.
Multiport transducer adapter
The adapter enables connection of up to three imaging transducers to the system simultaneously, facilitating seamless switching between transducers during an exam.
Side-by-side M-mode facilitates lung imaging
Sparq provides a Side-by-Side M-mode feature that offers a live reference image, simplifying the interpretation of real-time lung imaging in the ICU.
SonoCT and XRES improves image quality and reduces noise
By compounding multiple angles in real-time, SonoCT produces high-quality images, with reduced artifacts compared to conventional ultrasound. Additionally, XRES technology is utilized to generate virtually noise-free images with excellent image quality and border definition.
